The gutkin.org training method uses patient knowledgeable instruction that addresses the most common as well as individual concerns of golfers. gutkin.org uses the most current and original information for imparting peak performance skills in sport and life. There is a direct correlation between skill level and number of quality practice hours. A skilled competitor, whether the domain is chess, music, tennis or golf will put in over 10,000 hours of practice by the time he or she is twenty years old. (Optimizing Performance, Golf, K. Anders Ericsson, 2000) Several studies and reviews have found a consistent relation between performance level and the amount of activities offering opportunities for deliberate practice in Chess (Charness, Krampe, & Mayr, 1996) Sports (Helsen, Starkes, & Hodges, 1998) and Music (Krampe & Ericson, 1996; Sloboda, 1996). The concept of deliberate practice also accounts for many earlier findings in other domains. (Optimizing Performance, Golf, K. Anders Ericsson, 2000) A golfer's physical performance of mastered skills is often hindered by common psychological and emotional factors. Anxiety (how we interpret a situation) lack of concentration, low self confidence, and reluctance to play aggressively can be controlled through the use of hypnosis and proper practice. Sport Hypnosis is a useful tool for helping the Athlete to achieve his or her full potential. Sport Hypnosis is in part the technique of imagery. During visualization the athlete is instructed that mental imagery affect the body down to the cellular level. Sport Hypnosis is a useful tool for helping the Athlete to achieve his or her full potential. Sport Hypnosis is in part the technique of imagery. Visualization techniques reinforce neuromuscular coordination. Training through the use of imagery and physical exercises expedites the learning process for a beginner and will bring the novice and advanced player to the next level of his or her game. Scientific studies conducted at Arizona State University by Dan Landers conclude that that when you are learning a new skill the brain activity is predominately in the left side of the brain. As you acquire skill, the brain activity shifts to the right hemisphere of the brain. The art of juggling is an example of how the left-brain is active during the cognitive developmental stage. The left-brain needs to map the information in a logical pattern. Once this is accomplished the right-brain takes over and you are juggling without conscious awareness. If you want to learn to juggle - just ask gutkin.org. Further Studies at Arizona State University have shown that just before an expert athlete pulls the "trigger" the brain, predominately the left-brain erupts in a BURST of Alpha wave which is indicative of a relaxed trance-like state of mind. gutkin.org training method will first teach you the physical swing using words to form a logical understanding of the golf swing. As you acquire the necessary skills the training shifts to coaching the right side of the brain through the use of hypnosis and other right brain practices. gutkin.org combines the physical and intellectual side of golf. Learning takes place over a period of time. No conscious effort is made to alter an existing swing. You always feel as though you are using your "old swing". However, the results will be different.
